I am trying to get my certifcations asap so it can help me find a better job.

I need some motivation wether or not I should take the test.

Depends entirely on your experience and how quickly you can study and retain the material. Search my other answers, I just answered a similar A+ question earlier today. Search Yahoo Answers in general for A+ and CompTIA and you'll lots of other Q&A on A+, Network+, etc. Good luck on the exam.

Most of the A+ test can be successfully taken if you have a good memory. There are so many little petty facts like how many pins a Socket 478 processor has or how much L1 cache a P1 processor has...it's ridiculous. There are questions on the OS part of the test that are situation-based so you have to know the basics to answer the questions. If you have time to memorize IRQs and a ton of other little facts, you can probably do just fine.
