I know girls who shave or wax everything. I personally don't like being "bald down there" so I shave enough so my bikini covers all hair. I also wear fairly modest bikini bottoms.
Nothing looks worse (I think) than hair hanging out of your bikini bottom. But so long as your bikini bottom covers whatever hair you have, if any, then shave none shave it all or whatever you like in between. Why don;'t you shave some, then next week do the lot and experiment until you decide what you like.

All parts are shaveable. I advise using a shaving cream/gel specifically for shaving the bikini area, and be EXTRA careful if you're going to shave the labia. If you're shaving the whole area, shave downards first to remove a good bit of hair, then shave towards your belly button to smooth it out. If you haven't shaved before or if it's been awhile and there's a good bit of hair, I recommend trimming with scissors before you start to shave. It keeps your razor from getting dull too quickly and your tub from stopping up. When the hair starts to grow back, it will itch like crazy, so use some hydrocortisone cream to help with that.

I shave everything. Just shave in the direction of the hairline, not against the way it grows, if that makes sense.
You can shave as much or as little as you feel comforatble there's no part you "aren't supposed" to shave, it's up to you.
NEVER use soap and water, use a good shave cream, prefereably one made for bikini area. I reccomend Coochy - you can buy it from a Slumber Parties distributor (I am one, if you cant find someone in your area). It will help you not get razor bumps that a lot of women get in that area.
Good luck!

hey im a student beauty therapist, and i really dont advise you to shave, if you want to have a clean bikini area then use wax, its long lasting, and has more of a clean, soft and smoother effect. You can shave and wax everywhere where you can see hair, but be gentle. Best soulution go to a beauty salon, and get it professionaly waxed. You will be pleased with the results. and oh if you really want to shave, use a diffrent method of shaving down there. for example 'Veet' (formally known as Imac) they do a specail range for the bikini area. Vert have a range of products from wax strips to a hair removal cream. Hope this helps.

You can shave whatever you want. You don't have to shave it all but some do or leave what they call a landing strip. I have to use a Feathertouch razor (found online) and also a bikini trimmer (found at walmart) and shave dry using baby powder. I used to shave in the bath with my regular razor and shaving cream but got really bad red bumps that hurt like hell. I'm not sure if it's still called a Feathertouch but that really works well but I have to use the bikini trimmer first to shorten the hair. I have tried that Coochy but it didn't work for me it still hurt like hell with red bumps. Good luck to you.

Depending on how revealing your bikini will be , you may just shave the areas that have hair thats going to exposed, or you could just go all the way, or you could go to a salon and get a brazilian wax, but honestly how much u take off is really up to you.

Use lots of shaving cream. I shave everything, but you may want to work up to that. It is curvy sensitive skin, so it's hard to shave. The 1st time is the worst: when it grows in the 1st time, it itches like crazy. And make sure you moisturize with sensitive skin lotion after. If you do it too often, you'll get ingrown hairs. So let it grow out every other week.
I LOVE the way my lips feel after I've shaved them!

I just shave with shaving cream of coarse so you don't chafe or have little bumps after, then use a good lotion after. Or they have Nair for bikini area,it save and works good if your not really hairy,if you are shave a little or cut your hair with scissors first, you know shorter, then use the Nair.
