I have not researched this, and so I can only speak for myself. My IQ was professionally tested on three occasions: Grade School, Junior High, and High School. On all three occassions I scored 174.
I do spiritual healing with singing bowls. I play the bowl in someone's hand, and feel the vibrations as they extend through the person, and can tell them where the vibrations are and what they're doing. I can do this with person after person, and it always goes through at a different rate. I'm always careful to not call out too often where the energy is, so that I don't lead the experience. I think that it's important to verify the phenomena.
One time on a camping trip, a friend and I created a psychic link which allowed us to keep tabs on each other without needing those family band radios.
One time, while engaging in on-line activities, a witch and I played a game of "where am I touching you" and we were able to correctly identify where and how the other person was touching from thousands of miles apart over IM
For a while, a friend and I maintained a karmic connection, and sometimes I would smell something, and call her up, and it was exactly what she was smelling.
"Did you just make cookies?"
"Was the dog just breathing in your face?"
"Did you just disinfect something?"
Often times when I'm driving, I'll see someone walking who doesn't look as several cars go past, and I'll look at the person, and they'll turn to look as I approach. Whereas people with the person (the ones I wasn't looking at) don't turn

There is no reason in the world to slam anyone! Calling someone dumb or saying psychics are just ripping off people is childish. No one is perfect and readers are doing the best that they can! Everyone is psychic! Some people just have an easer time tapping in. Buy the way the C.I.A. used “remote viewing" in the 2nd world war to spy on the enemy…look it up!

The intelligent beings are less apt to believe in psychics.
If the psychics are real they could make money on betting, playing the lottery and give their services away free instead of being on Montel or something.
Notice some psychic hot lines go out of business.
There are serious psychologist with rooms full of data that didn't work out. Not proof, but real evidence there is no such thing.
There are rods, cones, other cells in the eyes, plus pathways to two parts of the Brain. Ears sense sound and sense of "UP".
Senses: sight, color, biorhythm, sound, UP, touch, taste, smell, maybe 8 or more senses anyway.

There is no such thing as psychic ability. It is made up as a way to take money off gullible people.
As dgrhm, people who believe in psychics tend to fall very strongly into the lower intelligence brackets. Very, very few educated or intelligent people believe in psychism for the simple reason that there is no evidence for it.

I haven't heard about any connection between self-proclaimed psychics and high IQ's.
They seem to be very intuitive and empathetic, though.
