Why do some black people make fun of each other for being black?

At my school they make fun of people who is darker than they are. That's dumb! Why would they make fun of each other for being dark-skin?

1) Who are the top black actresses in Hollywood? Not counting Halle Berry (biracial). How many of them are Wesley Snipes's skin tone? Or BIggie Small's color?
2) If Kelly Rowland is the better singer of Destiny's Child, why do we hear and see more of Beyonce?
3) Why do we see athletes/rappers/singers with light skinned wives all the time?
4) In music videos all we see are light skinned girls
5) My Wife & Kids replaced the dark skinned daughter with a light skinned one and the show was boycotted by many blacks as racist.
6) Even the Bratz bolls have the one black guy so light skinned that he looks white.
If you're a dark skinned girl, you would have reason to hate light skinned ones since they seem to get everything-attention, fame, men and so on. It's more common with girls than guys.

I don't know why black people make fun of other black people darker then them it's so stupid I've seen plenty of really dark skin people be made fun of by other blacks that's lighter then they are and sometimes the person there making fun of looks way better then them

Its just a thing where being really black or dark is a joke. Like "Yo mamma's so black, she went to night school and they marked her absent." or "Yo mommas so black she has to wear white gloves when eating tootsie rolls or she will eat her fingers." wherever you go at any countries, there will always be criticism to our physical differences, to the work we have done etc..life is like that, people in the world, always make fun of criticizing, some times it serves as their outlet in their lonely lives...
