We arent. The European Union, Australia, China, India, Japan, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica etc.

"FREE" - what does that mean? Free to follow a religion or no religion at all? Free to vote or not vote? Free to live life as you see fit? By that definition, there are a lot free countries.

My definition of freedom may be a bit different than yours. My definition of freedom: free do be responsible to conduct myself in a manner that I see fit, providing that I do not impinge on the freedoms of others.

In this Country you are only free to do what you are told to do!

it's not. but because such a widely known revolutionary war and our founding fathers fought so hard for us to be free we're seen as a free country. there are still free countries out there...
