If so, why?

Yes, I was. After X2 I really expected alot more. But than Bryan Singer left to do Superman. You can tell in the storytelling. Brett Ratner is not as good as Singer. Also I thought that several of the cast just phoned in their appearance. They got rid of one bad guy (girl) and two X-men right off the bat and I thought the movie never recovered. Some of the bad mutants were cool but they had so many and not enough time to tell their story. I also thought the whole Golden Gate effect was cheesy. Seemed like a scene from a 80's movie with 80's special effects. You could also tell they were on wires on some of the stunts. Not very fluid with their motions. And what was with Angel. He was hype so much to do so little plus casting Ben Foster who has done so many bad guy rolls.
I guess you could say I was very disappointed with it. I haven't recommended it to anyone. Superman Returns comes out the 30th so I will see how Singer did with it.
Well I hope that was what you wanted. Remember it's just my opinion I could be wrong. I just expect more out of a movie than when I was 5. Thanks for the good question.
P.S. Nice picture.

A little disapointed. The action scenes were good but they killed off some important characters. Don't see X-4 coming out any time soon. Only a Wolverine Movie.

No. It got fairly mediocre reviews, so my expectations were lowered. In that frame of mind, I was pleasantly surprised. They still maintained the complex issues of morality. And even though it seemed much more dependent upon action sequences, they did a good job of bringing many of the characters into deeper development, such as Rogue, Icee, and Pyro.

It was a really cool movie, especially the last scene when the chess piece moved slightly. x4 coming up. By the way, your pic is hot.

It was ok, I didn't really like the ending that well. I mean, why would Professor X come back as a disabled, sickly man about to die???

It was OK - great action and all, but it needed more character development.
