I think the most exciting thing I did was live abroad in England. At the time, I didn't realize how much I was going to gain out of the whole experience. Being abroad forced me to understand who I am and where I came from.
I made friends with so many different people from different lands. My most important lesson I gained from it is what I appreciate most about the US-- cost of living, my family and knowledge of culture. I think everyone should try to live abroad because it forces you open yourself up and be more aware of your surroundings. I also travelled alot in Europe ;)

The most exciting thing I have ever done was also the most traumatic experience I have ever had. In July 2004, I had to move back home to take care of my sick mother. We had not really spoken much in years and I had just started dating this wonderful person and was scared I would lose him. I went back and helped to care for my mother and was able to reconcile our differences before she passed away. Then, the guilt set in and I was depressed beyond belief. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat, and I was afraid to be alone. I got help with my feelings, resolved a lot of my issues and was able to move on and forgive myself and my mother.

If you have problems with a parent, resolve them. Don't let them fester. One day it could be too late. Lucky for me, it wasn't.

Truthfully, it was when I was seventeen and received the baptizism of the the Holy Spirit, by faith in Jesus. There is no drug, sexual experience, amount of money, land to visit, act of kindness, sacrifice, kind word, or good thought, that can compare to knowing the Love of God.

Get'er done!
