i have the same characteristics. i use a light natural brown shade and a gold shimmer from victoria's secret on top. it's a great highlight for hazel eyes!
also, a line of a really light color like white or pale pink is good on the brow line because it makes your eyes look more open and eyebrows look more shaped.

You are going to love this. Go to www.covergirl.com, click on "Beauty Quizes" and select "Get Color Matched". It will give you all the color eyeshadows that will look good on you and their make up is very reasonably priced. There is also a screen model you can try the makeup on and it's fun! If you have questions click on "Beauty Consultants - CG Live Chat." They will respond back quickly to your questions. I really enjoyed the whole thing....I like having fun with makeup.

My coloring is kind of the same as yours, but I don't have highlights. I use muted natural shades, like brown, beige, moss green, terracotta, brown eyeliner, not black.

nice browns and colors that match your hair. Do not use bright colors, they look bad on everyone. Maybe some oranges, plum, and such.

you sound like you are a 'warm' tone...
go with shimmery browns and earthy tones... redish colours and perhaps even greenish tones are also good.
experiment with a few different colours... see which brings out your eyes best...

Go to a makeup company's website. You will be able to type in your skintone and eyecolor and they will tell you what is best to use.
