So I have agressive house spiders getting into my tub, 1 every morning. Im afraid of spiders and to see one in my bathtub every morning is too much. I have a full tubsurround and I know these little bastards cant climb the walls so how do they get in? This bathroom is in the basement of a bi-level house that is only 3 feet underground. There is a heat register above theshower head but ive blocked it and they still get in...HOW??? is there anything I can do to get rid of em or prevent them? Usually I call my cat beanbag and he eats them for me, no wait! HAHA...Any ideas??

THANKS

close the drain in the tub.they come up the pipes from outside!close all sinks and drains in the bathroom.also look up in the corners of the bathroom
for cobwebs,if u see them get a broom and knock them down gently.then flush the spider in a few pieces of toilet paper. the spider is gone and still alive and u don't have anymore spiders

hope this helps

Spiders are very adept at climbing and could be dropping from the ceiling however they cant get out of tubs because the surface is to slippery, best bet would be a surface spray, that should give you three months of protection. Spray along the ceiling edge, around the floor perimeter and externally around the window....wear a mask and do not inhale go out for a walk while the initial fumes dissipate.

spiders can only fall into the tub but they havent got the web to get out because there webs dont stick to the cermic tub.
bug spray kills them and some keep them out for a while

Call an exterminator. You'll be glad you did. That should cure the problem right away.

They may get in through the drain.
Spiders can climb, so don't rule that out.
