He should be the #1 ranked in the world. Ok, so if you beat the #1 and you are #2- shouldn't you move up? He is 5-1 against Federer and has a clay court streak, how could he not be #1 this year?

Nadal is not the greatest. He has trouble on all surfaces except clay. Is Nadal the greatest clay player, yes, he has the longest streak. I think Federer has a good cushion between 1st and 2nd because of his points.

Nadal is only a clay court specialist. He is active only during the clay season winning most of them. His game suits only clay where he can retrieve each ball & smack a winner. He is humbled down by Federer on other surfaces. Infact he is sent packing even by newbies in the opening rds except the French Open. A deficit of 3000 pts proves Why Roger is #1.

Federer is a better all around player and has won 3 of the last 4 majors. You can't overtake that after just a couple of months. I'd love to see them play in Wimbledon. Federer will destroy. Same in the U.S. Open or on any hardcourt. Federer is #1 and always Wimlebon in my book unless Nadal becomes a fantastic grass and hardcourt player, which is unlikely.

Nadal is all clay. He is superb, but only on clay. Federer is great on all 3 surfaces and has won all other slams. What also counts for points is the seed and rating of players you beat.
