You just turn it on, theres nothing else to do. Go to CONTROL PANEL>>WINDOWS FIREWALL>> Set it to ON.

Turn it on. And whenever a program tries to access ur computer thru a network. it will ask u if u wish to allow it or to stop it from running. This is basically what the firewall does.

START--CONTROL PANEL--SECURITY CENTER
then open windows firewall, enable it, and there ya go. It will give you options to allow or disallow certain programs.

go to control pannel and click on security and set it on.
