If you can't tell the truth then I feel it's better to just not say anything. It's also possible to tell the truth without being brutally honest. Like if your girlfriend/girl friend asks you if her outfit is okay but you don't like it. You could say "It's not really something I'd wear myself but the neckline/color, etc. is great for you. However, if your friend asks you if their sweetheart is cheating on them and you know for a fact that they are. I'd be honest. Something like... I'm sorry, I just didn't know how to bring it up and didn't want to you be hurt but, yeah, I think they are.

to me it is n i also like it when the ppl whom i speak to are communicating the truth in return, but unfortunately its not happening. it seems as though ppl like to lie, which could be good n bad. But telling the truth also could hurt as well; for example, if a girl asked u how does she look (even though u think to urself omg she looks horrible in that dress) ur actually gonna say u look gorgeous, as to not hurt her feelings. Overall, there are ups n downs to telling the truth n the same goes to telling a lie!

Yes, deffinintely! If you aren't honest with someone else, then how do you know they are being honest with you? You don't! So being honest and telling the truth is very important. No matter what it is!
