You can go to your local post office and they sell different stamp sets for collectors. Also, you can sign up for pen pals from different countries and collect stamps that way. You could probably even post here and ask for people to send you a stamp from their state.

contact the Mystic stamp company they will send you a started kit of 100 stamps for very little money.

you can start by buying a few and make sure they are different you could also ask for some like for birthdays and holidays and it is fun not to look for them but let them find you
