I'm 5"1, and I prefer men that are taller than me for silly reasons, such as wanting to tiptoe to kiss him. If you're 5"2 then I would go out with you. Then again the way you look shouldn't come in the way of your personality, some people just rely on their looks because they have no personality.

Well women do intend to ignore men who cant spell wot as what...not just kidding. There are 2 reasons i know of...
Short women aren't noticed as much as the taller women. They have to make themselves stand out more. Make the first move by saying hi. I won't date a guy too much taller than me because he would have to bend down for a kiss
The other reason is in research 90 something out of 100 women think taller men are hotter so maybe they see the taller guys out of there league.

Genetics work at a very subconcious level ( I reckon ).
I know a lot of tall blokes with short women, vice versa, thin with fat. Although this not always the case, I think we subconciously pick a partner which will make the best offspring.
Someone with loads of self confidence may go for someone with none but loads of brains. etc.

Their reason is that they want their children to be taller as they think it gives them more chances to get on in life. Height is an advantage?

Am 5" 2' and i like my men tall...but having said that am single and 29 now so maybe I have the problem lol xx

I don't really care how tall/short a guy is, as long as he has a personality compatible with mine. Though I once dated a guy a foot taller than me, and man was it annoying. We practically had to do gymnastics just to hold hands walking down the street. :P

I'm sorry, but a man who's 5'6 or under is not as attractive as someone 5'9 and up. Girls don't want to bend over to kiss their man....but that's my opinion.

I'm 5'4", I don't care if a guy is about my same hieght, but def. not shorter.. Don't really know why.. I guess it just doesn't feel right
