Sounds like "The Stepford Wives," a 1975 film that was sort of a ghoulish reaction to "women's lib" -- in a fictional town called Stepford, Connecticut, everything is perfect. And when a man joins the "Mens Club," shortly thereafter, his wife undergoes a radical personality change.
The film was remade in 2004 with Nicole Kidman. The 2004 version also featured a gay couple where one of the men was subjected to the same treatment as the women.

Try "The Hot Box" from 1972. This is about a group of women who break out of prison (in the jungle) and start a local revolution.
If this doesn't help, try imdb.com and do a plot search for women in the jungle.
