it's been in the news a lot lately. what are your feelings on the issue and what do you think will happen to the people in the middle of the conflict as well as what do you think we should do about the issue as a nation.

Being realistic, I have to say that I don't believe anything will happen and nothing will change... except for the worse. Once the politicians have all had their photo-ops and spouted all their 'feel good' speaches everything will quickly return to what it was before the world's attention was focused on the genicide.
The main problem is, the people involved are the wrong skin color and the wrong religion for the western nations to actually HELP them... so the politicians who control the money will just look away knowing that, if things are left as they have existed for the past couple of year... eventually the 'problem' will take care if itself because there won't be anyone left.

I think it is so profoundly sad, and really think that the USA with Bush as president will do nothing. After all, the problem isn't about oil, but human rights, and we DO all know that George W Bush ISN'T about human rights. ALL THOSE SOULS LOST, HOW CAN WE ALLOW IT?
