At what point during the last century did it all go wrong? As a planet we all seemed to be chugging along, a couple of bumps along the way (WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, IraqII, etc.), but mainly alright. As long as you were born on the right continent.

So at what point, exactly, did it all go wrong?

I personally think it was when JFK was shot, it didn't help his brother was shot either. We could've probably used Dr.Luther as well. Hmmmm....

It's all started with successive conservative Governments that are not democratic and don't listen to the people and they try to control us and take away our freedoms. They are building a polarised multi-layered society and that is what's wrong, the haves and have nots, ethnic separation, social isolation, poverty and underclass are all functions of these regimes. Bush, Blair and Howard are the current mob of idiots wrecking our lives with their regressive and divisive policies. Jules, lecturer. Perth

Eve was weak and engaged Adam in eating the apple. We went from perfection/oneness to a good and evil world of duality. Depending upon the religion, the objective is get back to a state of oneness. We didn't do so well in the 20th century. In the mean time in order to make the world a better place we can engage in meaningful prayer, study the word of G-d, and do good deeds to our fellow people. Our souls know the way, our ego gets in the way.

I don't think it ever really went "wrong"! Earth and the public naturally have their ups and downs. The great depression was a huge down. And alot of times all you can see are those downs. But you know those peaceful times, when nothing seems to be going on? Those are the ups that no one seems to notice. It's all about balance. If it was all ups we'd be off balance. We all have to have a share of downs. This point of time just happens to be a down
