Absolutely. Once thought of as a joke, or merely heresay, today global warming is a very real problem. Although the Earth has natural cycles of heating and cooling, our use of fossil fuels has impacted the environment drastically, especially towards the poles. Currently, polar bears in some regions are resorting to cannibalism as they can't catch enough seals to eat, some birds are starving because spring comes earlier and by time the birds arrive (just in time for spring normally) many of the insects are gone or already eaten, and there is glacial melting. Eventually, the US may become a dust bowl and the main agricultural belt in North America will move into Canada. Essentially the environmental evidence for climate change based upon pollution is overwhelming and cannot be ignored.
