STOP whatever you do, don't start the ngine when your car is leaking any amount of gas, you can automatically go in flames with one spark.
I'd recommand to hire a shop mechanic to go to the place of your car and tell you whats up(he probably will have to lift the car),in my opinion it might be that the gas tank got a leak somwhare, maybe a rock punctured it while driving.
check http://www.cartalk.com you can ask experianced guys there. Good luck

Well if it`s leaking gas you know that`s not good. But it may not be as bad as you think. It will cost you less the faster you get it looked at.It can be as simple as a worn out or cracked hose to having the gas tank or sending unit fixed.either way you should not drive like that for your safety.

Could be a bunch of things, depending on where the gas is coming from.
You definitely need to take the car in ASAP, as you're not only putting yourself in danger, but potentially creating a hazard for others (not to mention polluting).

There could be a fuel line that is cracked. If this is the only problem it wont be that expensive. If it only leaks when you start it then the tank itself is not cracked.

Sounds like a broken fuel line. I doubt it'd be that expensive to fix.
Considering gas prices these days it's probably way more expensive to drive it like that than to fix it.

Go to a car mechanic, and if you think their quote is too expensive, then take it somewhere else. Price check. Try the car dealership you purchased the car from also.
