Germany is +1 GMT.

If you are in the US on the east coast, Germany is 6 Hours later than where you are. If you are on the West Coast, Germany is 9 hours later than where you are. If you are anywhere else, just figure out the difference between your time and GMT, then make it one hour later.

During June and July 2006, German time is generally referred to as the number of hours before the next World Cup Match. So, for instance, 1:00am in Germany is referred to as "14 hours before the next match".

The time in Germany is 1 hour ahead of GMT (Greenich Mean Time), which sets the standard for time in the world. If you are in CST (Central Standard Time) you are 6 hours behind GMT. For example, at noon GMT it is 6am CST and in Germany it would be 1pm.
