If they regroup and beat Italy and Ghana, they will definetly advance, but will have it rough against most-probably Brazil.

First off the person who anwesered this question first is a moron. Oguchi Onyewu is an incredible defender. Claudio Reyna, also an incredible playmaker. The US national team's biggest problem is that our players that play club soccer in Europe are are stars. But they dont have good chemistry when they play with our MLS players. If we can find some way to really work as a team, we have a good chance. And u guys need to shut up too, so we had a bad game, big deal, it doesnt mean we suck. We do very well in friendlies, and have a great, rich roster of players, we just need to get our euro players to play well with others. So Donovan, and Beasley had a bad game, they have two more. From what ive seen, Italia doesnt look all that promising, and as i said before, if we can work as a team, we can definitely beat Italia and Ghana..........winning the whole cup....im not so sure, but we can advance out of our group. Bruce Arena is making several tactical errors, he needs to find a formation, and a roster that works. Anyone who disagrees with what i said, feel free to email me at JT_SkylineGTR@yahoo.com, but im confident in my knowledge about this situation.

As a US fan I would have to say no after seeing our play in game 1. Before the cup started I thought we could make the round of 16 or better after our performance in 2002. Now I would like to see the US score and after that win a game. It would be sad to see teams that tie games 0-0 do better then the US.

They have no chance of winning. I think the World Cup is a good humbling experience for the USA.

USA had a very bad draw. Czech, Italy, and Ghana are all very good teams. the only team that they have a chance to draw with is Ghana. 1 point won't get you anywhere.
Tough luck.. but hey it's the world cup bring your A game.

The U.S. team isn't at all on par with the rest of the world. We saw that against the Czechs. Italy will completely crush them cuz they're the best in that group and if the U.S. is lucky they'll manage to get a point against Ghana.

I think there's room for improvement. The team has come a long way from several years ago when a match against them was as good as won. They aren't at the same level as other teams and how could they be? Soccer season here is simply that: a season. Worldwide, soccer is played year-round.

thats a big HELL NO! there's so much controversy over USA and how they've improved and how they will do good. The reality of it is USA SUX and they will always suk at a sport they know nothing about. Americans grow up liking one of the sports: basket, base, or American football. These keg-drinkers dont know **** when it comes to football (soccer). From the commentators all the way to the players. (period!)

USA sucked big time, I had hoped for a better team, but that so called Reyna and #22 Obedeya couldn't play as a team if their life depended on it.

Not a chance, USA looked amatuer the other day. Donovan's the only good player and no Freddy Adu, nice one!
