Because of our lifestyles. It used to be that people died early because they worked so hard and wore their bodies down. Now it's because of bad eating and lack of exercise.

We die early because of the following:
1) We don't exercise enough...people who live in foreign countries walk soo much more than Americans do. If Americans were to ditch their cars and escalators..they would be creating a stronger body
2) We eat too much food that is not healthy. Water, milk, veggies and fruit these things will bring a long healthy life...but most individuals love carbohydrates, sugar and fat...these things can lead to heart disease etc.
3) We are over worked and stressed. Americans don't slow down. They don't do things that make them happy. We are over-worked and this probably leads to a shorter life.
4) We are obsessed with anti-bacterial products. Germs are okay, they help you build a stronger immune system.. I mean its good to wash your hands and all but don't be afraid to live and get a little dirty.

well, it has to do with lifestyles and diets. a good portion of people no longer care about their physical health and let themselves go. hence, why there's a huge ratio of obese people in America. a lot of it does have to do with all the chemicals and preservatives in our food. many things you buy at a grocery store are not as healthy as you would hope or think. way back in the day, there wasn't all this stuff in our food, and most people grew their own fruits and vegetables, making things from scratch. it was a lot healthier. but that's been shot to hell for the most part.

The human race has become too interested with what we want, and not what we need...society has caused most to "keep up with the Jone's"..so to speak. No ones ever really relaxed any more. It's a "gimme gimme want want thing. So much of our time is wasted by trivial stress. We have also forgotten that we are animals.......Politics and religion have also placed a large weight on our lives.....the human race needs to get back to basics.

We don't take good care of our bodies.
Of course there's man's involvement. Food that's loaded with unhealthy ingredients, pollution, stress.
