it's one of my biggest pet peeves, it's called a sideWALK not a sidebike

As an avid biker, I can tell you that I personally avoid the sidewalk as much as possible. Young children should be on the sidewalk for the sake of protection. Teens do not know any better and do it because they dont care. But bikers do have every right as cars to be on the road. Bikes are considered a vehicle, be it a slow one much the way as those antique cars are still allowed street access. On my bike I can easily reach 30 MPH, so I ride in the road. Respect bikers on the road please, gas costs a lot, don't be cruel because of their choice to bike.

I couldn't agree more! I'm an avid touring cyclist. The streets are for riding, not the sidewalks. You should ride in the street, with traffic and not against it, if there is enough room to do so; if not, find a quieter, wider street. Pedestrians are put in danger when you ride a bike on the sidewalk.
Get off the sidewalk! Share the road!

I hate them in traffic and on the sidewalk. They should just stop riding the damn bikes or ride them on bike trails.

No, but people who drive those big steel contraptions that can kill others with who drive recklessly piss me off royally.
Lets look at it realistically: How many people every year get killed from those people who ride bicycles?
And
How many people per year get killed from reckless car drivers?

Huh does it take a genius to figure this out? let me know
Oh, is this same kind of thinking that led people to vote for Bush?

LMAO!!! it doesn't bother me if its only 1 or 2 cyclists...but it does become irritating after awhile seeing them day after day, bumpin on you, racing right behind you. So yes, it does tick me off, they should remain on the road where they should be.

Bicyclists are SUPPOSED to obey auto traffic laws. They are not supposed to be on sidewalks.

Then why do we drive on a PARKway and park on a DRIVEway.

hmmmmm, I would rather have them on the sidewalk then on the parkway.
