if you mix it with oil and use it after a shower all over it should last longer.

One of the easiest ways is to spray part of it on your skin, and part of it on your underclothing, such as a bra or camisole. The part that is on your underclothing will not mix with your body chemistry the same way the part on your skin will, but it also won't fade as quickly. The heat radiating up from your body through the clothing will help keep the scent in the air. I have been spraying my bras for so long now that even if I washed them two or three times without wearing them between washings, they would still smell like my perfume.
Another good thing to do is to apply perfume to places on your body that aren't likely to be washed until you shower again. Good spots include the insides of your elbows (instead of the insides of your wrists), the back of your neck, and your hair. (Don't actually spray your hair; spray into the air and then stick your hair down in the mist as it settles, and do it after your hair is done for the day, not while your hair is wet.)
If all else fails, buy the cheapest formulation of your perfume that is available, and buy a tiny atomizer bottle that will fit in your purse. Spritz throughout the day. Just remember that after you wear a scent for while, you cannot smell it yourself. Have someone like a girlfriend or husband check your smell so you don't overpower people :)

Put a thin layer of Vasaline over your skin after you sprayed the fragrance. Not so much so that you end up feeling and looking like a grease monkey though.
By the way, if it fades quickly, then it is cheap. You may have paid a lot of money for a cheaply made product...

Apply some vaseline over the spot you spray on your body; that should lock in the scent for a while. Put it over pulse spots like your neck elbows behind the knee.

Put on your perfume before you put on your clothes. It retains scent longer when sprayed directly onto your skin, especially after a bath or shower.

Use lotion first then spray. Also, spray some in your hair. Or put some on a little piece of fabric and stick it in a pocket, it is like a product sample to carry with you!

Put it on when your body is wet, when you're just out of the shower, your body retains scents better that way.
