I look at "things" and their place in the big picture. I ask myself whatever the stressful thing is, if it will affect my life in a day, a week, a month, a year and etc. Usually the stressful thing is really nothing at all.
And if it's something that is a big deal, or something that will affect me later in life, I begin thinking about and planning what my options are, good and bad...

By constantly reminding myself how small most problems are in the grand scheme of things. Also by not getting bogged down in others problems and focusing on my own.
