there is a wire connected to either the seat belt connector or under thr seat simply unplug it.

Put black tape over it.
Buckle up.
Get a friend to ride with you all the time.
Ask a dealer. But Federal regs will not let tham do it. Never mind.
Black tape, ya....that's the ticket.

it only turns off if someone is sitting in the passenger seat with his/her seat belt on

if no one is in the seat and the light is on you have a short.There is a pressure sensor in the seat (could be bad)unplug it .
