That IS a great looking bag.
In the 1920s and 1930s ( and some later) several companies made metallic mesh handbags. Some silver, some aluminum, some steel.
A few came in colors. They aren't identical to the one at Boston Proper, but they are similar. and very cool.

I like Boston however such as you say, vastly over-performed particularly in which I grew up because it was once lower than 2 hours from the town. So, in view that I do not have a tendency to speak approximately them so much or concentrate to that so much anymore (best while the temper moves me). My favourite Boston songs: The Launch/Cool The Engines More Than A Feeling Peace of Mind I'd take Scholz over Schon myself.
