Stupid questions are fun to ask. I like to see creative minds at work. If my question is to stupid for you then why even answer!?

There's supposed to be no stupid questions, only some stupid answers. Just ignore those that have some smarta@@ remark to make. I would say that your mind is on a different parallel to others, unique. Yes, we "fall" in love. It stinks sometimes. When we divorce we climb/crawl out of misery, hopefully, and onto safer and happier emotional ground.

No, you could still be in love with another person during the divorce, right? Marriage isn't necessarily a symbol of love, as some couples are basically forced together... so what makes divorce the complete opposite? It's possible that you never really liked the person during marriage, hence you didn't fall in in the first place.

huh? marriage doesn't necessarily mean you fell in love, for one. many people get married for the wrong reasons. Examples: money, looks, getting pregnant, getting someone pregnant, pressured by family, pressured by getting older, etc. Divorce means no more marriage so that means you changed your mind. People should take marriage a little more seriously. The initial feelings of love wear off and then life sets in and some people can't handle that and get bored.

Not necessarily. It's not unheard of for someone in love with their spouse to leave them. If your spouse cheated on you, even if you were in love with him/her, you might leave them. Things like that. Usually, someone screws up and it ends in divorce... Although, sometimes, it's a matter of the husband and wife just not getting along anymore and falling out of love. Losing the spark. As you said, climbing out of love.
