I prefer the Mets over the Yankees.

I'm a Yankee fan and several reasons that the Mets won't be going to the WS or even the playoffs for that matter.

1. The Mets need to win the NL East and that won't happen because the Chop Shop (Braves) have always been a second half time team and they will win their 15th straight AL East Divsion. Plus your division is so freaking weak besides you and the Braves, you have the Phillies (WEEEAAAAAKKKKK!!!!)

2. Have you notice the NL Central well there are one team that have a great shot of getting that wild card spot (Cincy). It depends that the Reds continue to play well (currently lost four straight now and against NL Central teams, not good).

3. The Big Brother NY team will get their 9th straight AL East division by beating the Enemy (Bosox) again. The biggest problem for the Yanks is pitching (can you say Little Unit aka Randy Johnson). Also, will their injured bats (Sheffield, Matsui- slim possiblity and Bubba Crosby) return in time for them to finish the regular season in order for them to make it to the first round of the playoffs.

These are your reasons and you will probably disagree to all of the facts. You can disagree all you want but deep down I speak the truth and you should try to worry about the Braves taking your first place spot because they are deadly in the second half (wait and see, hee hee).

if there ever was a time for the mets to win it, it is this year. the only team in the entire national league that would be a .500 team in the American league, other than the mets, are the cardinals, and they just lost the best player in baseball. Yankees on the other hand are not only in the best division in baseball but they also have like 7 starters on the DL, yet they are still only one game back of first place. even though the mets have everything going for them right now you just get the feeling that they will screw it up. so i choose the Yankees

If the Yankees can't pull themselves together over the summer, I'll take the Mets. Otherwise, the Yankees. The Mets are the ones with something to prove as far as the postseason is concerned.

The Yakees have always been seen as the powerhouse of baseball however during the last couple of decades they have gotten away from the heart of the game and started buying their teams. I mean c'mon anyone with enough money can BUY what they want but, you can't neccessarily make it DO what you want. Money and top-of-the-line atheletes cannot create chemistry and chemistry is the one deciding factor in winning teams and losing teams across the board- no matter what the sport. Plus a handfull of atheletes that have risen to the occasion at the right time. The Mets sure seem to have it right now and if they can keep it then they are certainly my pick.

Mets, because they have a better cheer; M-E-T-S, Mets, Met, Mets.
Willie has put together a good, solid squad.

I hope they don't win a World Series, I'm a Phillies fan. But it would be nice to see someone other than the Braves take the division.

Mets- better team spirit
- Our line up against the yankees "new" lineup-
Reyes, Lo Duca, Beltran, Delgado, Wright, Floyd/chavez, Nady/Milledge, valentin, two top starters and three number two or three starters on other staffs as our 3,4,and 5 starters
- Our division is a bit weaker finally
-Age of the two teams
LETS GO METS

Looks like the Mets year this year. A-Rod is not worth all the money and I think all the high priced players are interfering with each other and bringing down the team as a whole.
