hi, yes it`s okay to wear sunglasses at a funeral most persons when they are greiving don`t necessarily want other person to look in their eyes because for one they might be subject to pity just by another person looking in their eyes and alot of people at this don`t want to be pitied in faxct comfort is more like it. wearing sunglasses at a funeral does hide the swelling and puffiness that is caused from the crying and yeah we know that`s not always a wonderful site sometimes even though persons are understanding when it comes to grief but hey wear the glasses and do it well

Yes! More than likely you want be the only person there with sunglasses on. My eyes reflect a lot of emotion and disapproval. So, I always wear a light tinted glasses regardless of where I go. You would be surprised how many people out there do the same.

Go ahead might as well make a fashion statement......I wore shades to my pops' funeral and no one cared or least minded. Unless you have inqusitive and gossiping aunts in the family...

If you're outside, I'd say yes, but otherwise I'd have to say that it's better to not wear them. It's a time for mourning and grieving together and they make you seem unapproachable and distant.

If this is what makes you comfortable, then wear the sunglasses.
No, there's nothing wrong with wearing them.
