Why do you say that? I take it you're not too old. Maybe you 'are' gay or bi if you don't see the beauty in females every day and be so thankful that you are a man. I don't know how many times I see a beautiful woman and just want to go, "OH MAN! WOW!" hehe There is nothing in this world, even as much as I love cars and different landscapes, as wonderful as a pretty woman with a lucious body.

If you're not sure, you should talk to someone who is gay or bisexual. Better yet, you should talk to a school counselor or psychologist. If you're straight, but think you are gay there are signs that would indicate you were, and these signs would have been taking place from an early age on.
It's not a matter of wanting to be one or the other. It's not really a choice.

Don't be misled by the Hollywood glamorization of "alternative lifestyles". Do the research and you'll find out that people who are gay and/or bi-sexual are more prone to many health risks both physical and psychological. I don't know what has got you down but often times when people are young they end up making major mistakes that impact the whole of the rest of their lives because they lack the patience to wait for blessings to come to them and they lack the insight to trust in the eternal Word of God as the final arbitrator of truth. As it is written...
Psalms 119:9 How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word..... Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalms 119:105

I think your unhappiness lies somewhere else. If you were gay or bi you would have a whole set of different problems which could make you even unhappier.Sex really isn't what makes a person happy or sad. Try talking to a counselor or minister about your problems.

I thought "gay liberation" wasn't supposed to affect straight people. If you're a guy, get a sex change and then go out with women. Or men. Or if you're a woman, get the sex change and go out with men. Or women.
Being confused is so cool.

Even a pinhead like me thinks this is silly! Everyone wants to be what they aren't, curly hair/ straight hair, tall/ short, Asian/ American, no matter what, we all want what the other guy has. I didn't know this applied to gay/ straight as well!

Being straight is not crappy, but neither is being gay. Be who you want to be, and do not judge the others cause they are people too. They choose to be who they are, and you have the same choice.

What about being straight makes you sad? Are you feeling lonely or discouraged with dating or do you have difficulty relating to the opposite sex?

you don't just decide one day to be gay or bi... it is how you are born... they have to live with being gay, and you have to live with being straight. So make the best of it.
