i love both of these guys very much but i have to pick which one would win...i would have too say that Edward would win.

I agree. Edward would win because he could counter all of Sasauke's attacks, even he used his Shadingon. It wouldn't help because Ed doesn't use Chakera, he uses Alchemy that doesn't involve Charkera. And if Sasuke called Ed short , Ed would be even thougher.Ed could turn Sasuke into a rodent.

Ed is great, don't get me wrong. But Sasuke (if you are refering to sasuke now with 3-pronged sharingan) sasuke could completely defeat him before ed had enough time to do anything much like the time sasuke was beaten by Lee.
Also you have to remember the Chidori attack. It plows through anything that Ed could make also making Ed's attacks useless. All and all it's a really pointless battle because a ninja would beat a solder (not even a solder, more like a scientist) any day

Well, the thing is that those two are my two favorite manga/anime characters, they both rock!! Edward- he has his awesome alchemic powers, he thinks on his feet, even during battle, knows martial arts, awesome at using weapons, kicks ***, and has mad skills. though his weakness is that he won't kill anyone, and when he is angered, damn is he crazy, nonelessgo Ed! ^___________^
Sasuke is strong too. He graduated at the top of his ninjustsu class, so he is really good. He is also armed with kunai, shuriken, his Sharingan, explosive tags and whatnot.... like Ed, he rocks at martial arts, quick to think in battle, awesome at weapon-ussing, and he has ninjutsu. He is awesome, but he is kind of cowardly because he doesn't want to die before he kills Itachi. He kicks ***! Go Sasuke! ^___________^X (wtf?)
Personally, I'd say Sasuke wins. Ed has alchemy, Sasuke has ninjutsu. They are all experienced fighters, but Ed does not have an eye like Sharingan, one which could see through their opponents moves or a seal curse that raises his strentgh by a lot. Ed is strong and persistent, their strentghs are like equal. Sasuke wins because ninjas are just more powerful and speed,. thats a huge difference. Ninjas are lightning fast, they also have jutsu that lets them teleport and stuff.
In the end, they both rock, Sasuke just has more of an advantage, kinda. But who knows what will really happen? =^___^=

Sasuke would win. He is more powerful and the ninjitsu art is more effective then Alchemy.
