If Israel didn't lose, why didn't they qualify? When was the last time Israel qualified for the World Cup games? How close were they from winning the world cup

I dont think Isreal really wanted to qualify for this world cup as most of the team were scared at the thought of being in Germany and having to take showers at the end of the game!

Israel didn't lose a game in the group they where in with France , Switzerland, and us (R. of Ireland) all the games between these teams ended in draws except one We lost 1-0 to France and so we didn't qualify . Israel drew with Cyprus i think it was whilst France and Switzerland beat them putting them two points from qualifying or to be more precise if Ireland had of bee ten France and Switzerland Israel would have qualified.

Israel have a good up coming team at the moment i would expect them to be playing in major tournaments within the next 4 years depending on who they draw in the qualifiers.

Israel were knocked out from the qualifying group that Switzerland and France both qualified from... it was a very tight group, because until the last handful of games, Israel, France, Switzerland and Rep of Ireland had drawn all of their games against each other - it was the Irish defeats by both France and Switzerland in their last two games that made the difference!

I think it was switzerland. They went down to the wire, but ultimately they had to beat switzerland or france, and hope the other team lost to the faeroe islands. They kind of dug themselves into a hole early in the qualifying round and couldn't pull it off. Maybe next time.

The main reason Israel didn't qualify is that they are forced to play in the European qualifiers instead of west asia. The west asian region is dominated by Arab countries that refuse to let Israel play in their countries and refuse to go to Israel to play. Their reason is that Israel is an 'aparteid' country, yet half of Israel's national team is arab.
