IP Address, you mean. It's ever changing. If you are on a network, your default IP is 192.168.1.1. You should memorize that. If you want to know what your IP is, go to START/RUN/CMD ("Cmd" is short for Command Prompt ) and type : IPCONFIG. What you should get is a series of three lines. The first one is your IP. Not like that matters, because you can change your IP all the time. It's quite easy and as long as your first three numbers are in the 100's and the IP's not taken, you can have that IP. If you need to change it to get to a website you've been blocked from, then just don't bother changing it and go via a proxy such as https://www.concealme.com. You can't get hacked through your IP.
Finally, if you don't feel like figuring out your IP the traditional way, go to http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/
If you're on a network and you'd like to know more than one IP, whilst in CMD, type ipconfig/all.
•NOTE•No matter what people say, the IP's you get from the website, and the one you get from your pc are not the same. The one from Command Prompt is your Internal IP and the one's you can get on the internet are you External IP.
By the way, since you said, "IP Number", incase you don't know, the best way to describe an IP address is like a phone number for your computer.

If you aer in the LAN, there will be 2 IP addresses: one is your internal and one that iss seen outside. To get the first, use ipconfig console command. The get the second one, go to showip (see link below).
If you aren't in the lan, they both can be the same.

1. open up command prompt and type in 'ipconfig'
and it will show you your internal ip addresse in the format ' 192.168.xx.xx' etc.
to find the external ip addresse:
1. goto www.whatismyip.com and it will give you your ip.
