I had to have a Direct TV tech come to my house and fix THEIR dish which I am renting and they charged me $70. Do you feel this is right? (It was just something wrong with the dish, nothing I did)

I bought the 7.99 a month insurance, so I don't worry about it. You don't rent the equipment from Direct Tv, you own it. Its all yours, thats why theres a 2 year contract. If you cancel, you keep the equipment. Thats how it works here anyway.

I have it. The reason they charge is because they sub contract the men who come out to fix it for you. It keeps costs down for the company. Well that's my opinion anyway.
