I just got my new phone and I am trying to connect it to the computer, so I can upload some songs on the memory card. I put in the memory card, pluged each end into the usb cord, and when I go to 'My Computer' to click on my phone, it's not there! It's like it's not even plugged in and connected. What's wrong??

Nope, no software came with the cd.

Did your phone come with a CD, with software on it that you install on your computer? That might help.

Do you have a card reader? If so, just try using it to transfer the songs to the memory card. I do that with my phone, and it's waaaaaay faster that using the date cable and Motorola phone Tools since the phones are usb 1.1 and the card readers now are usb 2.0.

First off, unplug your usb cable from your computer. Go into setting on your phone, and go to connection, make sure you have the USB settings active and not the bluetooth.Select the USB, the default connection: Memory, change, select memory card. Once that is correct plug the usb cable back into your computer and it should work.

you can buy it on ebay for under 10 bucks
