Could they have gotten into the liquor cabinet? I keep it locked, so how did those web footed rascals get into it?

Actually, you have to blame the goldfish for this one. This is one of the reasons I told you to set a time limit for how long they could stay after they ran away to the circus. They are just born troublemakers!! Now, the poor sweet rubber duckies have to suffer!!

Don't just set the blame on the rubber duckies. I happened to see a bunch of rubber chickens in the area. I would bet the duckies bribed the chickens and they pecked the lock open.
