If the government patrols Area 51 and will not allow anyone to take any pictures even from miles away, it makes me think that they are hiding something. Back in 1958, I came up with an idea for a robotic television that would take pictures in places where humans would be unsafe due to radiation. The Atomic Energy Commission wrote me back and said they already had that; in fact, they had 3D Color Television Robots at that time. Only a few years ago, I heard that Holographic TV was invented, yet in 1958, they already had 3D television. Also, as a boy, I was looking through a telescope and I saw what looked like a flying saucer. I read the book (out of print now), but you might be able to find one at Amazon.com called Flying Saucers Have Landed By George Adamski. It was a good book. So, you see that our government does hide things from us, but on the other hand, SETI has NEVER heard a signal from outer space yet that seems like intelligent life sent it, so it is a toss up all the way around.

if they have found them, then they would probably hide the fact of their existence until they believe it is safe to tell the public.
of course i would want to know lol. but i think it would be a good choice. Afterall if they are anything like humans then they would destroy those that are weaker. or even simply fight because of differences, after all humans don't always have good reasons to fight.

There has to be other intelligent life out there somewhere. Why else would they spend billions of dollars on space exploration ?

apparently they aren't trying that hard anymore. i saw a documentary on the discovery channel of a spacecraft we recently found. it showed the entire outside, parts of the inside, and how the cloaking device worked.
