I think you did the right thing. If you were to stay with him you'd always have that in the back of your mind. I was in that situation and everytime we argued I always brought that up....because I "forgave" but I DID NOT FORGET.

okay girl lets get real, that was the right thing to do . The reason it doesn't feel right is because you still have strong feelings for this man. You have to look at the bright picture in this, if you get back with him the trust is gone. You don't want to live your life or waste anytime on a man you are trying to trust again. It will probably be a lot of arguements because you are constantly asking who?what?when?and where? son't put yourself out like that. men are a dime a dozen get a man that appreciates a good woman like you.

There's two kinds of people, cheaters, and non-cheaters. A non-cheater will never cheat under any circumstance, a cheater obviously would. Once someone crosses that line and cheats, there's no going back. They discovered a reason to justify crossing that line, and it only gets easier after that. It might not feel like it right now, but you did the right thing, stick to your guns.

It all depends on your heart. Only you can make that decision. If you are willing to look past the mistakes that he has made and find it in your heart to forgive him then get back with him. If you feel like you can't let go of what he has done and feel like you will hold it over his head every time that he makes a mistake then leave him alone and move on. In the end the choice is really up to you so make one you can live with. Good luck!!!

Yes you should have broken up with the cheater. it just doesnt feel right because you were just cheated on and it hurts. part of you probably wants to even the score first. Once you meet someone else it will feel right.

If you are having regrets you should ask yourself 3 questions --
1-Do I love him?
2-Do I trust him? To tell the trust up front, not later. It is always easy to say "I'm sorry" it is much more difficult to walk away from a temptation.
3-Do I think that he honors me with his behavior?
If you can answer yes to ALL 3 questions. Then maybe your should re-consider

Yes. Once a cheat, always a cheat! Leave him and find someone who will treat you right.

Probably. Ususaly once a cheater, always a cheater. But if he really is sorry and can work hard to regain your trust (i.e. go to couple counseling) then perhaps her deserves a second chance.

I don't think i would have, i mean he loves you enough to have told you that he cheated on you. I mean i would have a hard time trusting him now but that is just something you two would have to work on.
