Real gays and real lesbians, meaning those who are exclusively homosexual in their sexual orientation, do not fantasize about sexual activity with members of the opposite sex. Bisexuals shouldn't have that problem, however. Surprised? Nope; but, you might be surprise how many heterosexual men and bisexual men think that a man is not a real man unless he has had sex with a woman. I do know that there are gay guys who fantasize about having sex with a guy who is heterosexual. I consider guys who call themselves "gay/bicurious" when they are heterosexual are stupid.

I think your kind of mixing it up.
Bisexual = girl or guy who likes both girls and guys
Lesbian = women who like women
Gay = men who like men
Maybe if a gay/lesbian youth is trying to fit into society's "normal" view might have had a realtionship with the other sex or when they were figuring stuff out. But that's it.

I can only answer for myself. I have never had a single fantasy, or natural sexual reaction to any woman I've ever known. Having never had such fantasies, they didn't start so they didn't stop.
I did have sex with a woman once, about a year after my parents death when I was 15 fundamentalist friends tried to convince me to "convert" to being straight because they were sure I would burn in hell if I didn't. They also told me that if I tried it with a womanI would prefer it. I was a mess from my parents death still, so I made them happy by trying it with someone I knew and valued as a friend and who was being constantly courted by all my straight male friends who were gaga over her. It disgusted me in ways I didn't know I could be disgusted. It made me physically ill, and it came close to ruining our friendship, though she did understand -- in a general way.
Why did you want to know this?
Kind regards,
Reyn

Ewww *shudders* No ofense ladies, but I find you to be quite repulsive when it comes to the thought of sex. I certainly never fantasize about it, never have dreamed about it...ever, and most definitely have never engaged in heterosexual sex *shudders again*. I also wouldn't expect a truly straight person to have thought about or engaged in gay sex.

No, never fantasize about men. I tried before when I was trying to be straight, but it never worked. I'd have great dreams about sex with women, but tried to ignore it. I had lots of sex with men, but never enjoyed it no matter how good and attentive he was. I married a man and I loved him, but it wasn't right. I never wanted him and I didn't love him the way he loved me. We tried everything: couples therapy, porn, extramarital sex, fancy positions, and finally a threesome. I finally figured out what was wrong...and right.

I fantasize about both men and women, and that is what makes me bisexual. I've had sex with both men and women as well.
