Proof, so far there is none, however if you take into account that there are trillions of galaxies each with trillions of stars all of which may potentially have planets, then you have to consider that there is a good chance that there is at least one other planet out there with the potential for life.

It will almost be impossible to know since we do not know what "life" on other planets may be like. For example, most life on this planet is carbon based. If, on another planet, the "life" is based on another chemical base, would we necessarily consider it "life" much less recognize it? For life to exist on earth, a series of events that combined chemicals in certain quantities and proportions had to occur.
To prove that life exists on other planets certainly raises more questions about the possible forms of so-called "life" that could exist with different planetary conditions than our own.

only by confirming it exists on another planet. however, there is a equation that determines the amount of advanced intelligent civilizations in the universe. Many of the factors are completely estimated and guessed at. However i think currently it is 7 or something liek that. though they say that one of the factors is the fact that species like us, humans, will destroy weaker ones so should we find intelligent life then it might result in a dangerous era.
the only way to prove that life DOESNT exist on another planet is by find EVERY planet and confirming that there is no life. of course how will you KNOW when you have found EVERY plant.
it is almost impossible to prove something which is why many laws and rules we use are only theories. disproving only requires a single existence that disproves the theory whereas proving one would require finding every possibility. so no the bible is not proof.

As of now, we have no idea. The knowledge we gained through science thus far does not provide us with any evidence to conclude that life exists in other plants. As we know, existance of life is impossible without water and oxygen. They have not found water anywhere outside the world. Most of our reasearch on that field, now a days, is based on Mars, where scientists are looking for any evidence of water. Let us find water and may be we will find evidence of life someday. I am not giving up the hope though because I BELIEVE in science.

recently there were a mirco organisms found somewhere idk though that are thought to come from a meteor or somethings, proving there might be life on otehr planets. some theories same that we orignally started off as microorganism from a comet or something like that. or if you dont believe that my earth science teacher in eith grade said that all right so the chances of a environment (like earth) in a galaxy is one in a billion (im just guessing ignore the numbers). but there many many more galaxies and possible more universes so im guessing there is life on otehr planets but probably no where close to earth

Mars USED to have life, before it got blown the hell up by a passing comet. That's right, I said it, it was a comet. Not like the whimpy ones we see nowadays, that don't affect us at all. I mean an entire glowing planet, spinning the other direction, not unlike Venus. An arc jumped from Mars' poles to the planet/comet's, and the result was what is Mars now.

There's a start on that stuff, and here's the area where they found the famous face of Mars. You can see all the pyramids.

The glass ridges, areas where large amounts of current were running across the surface.

Its proved. depends what kinda life form you're thinking of. They have already found different bacterias and microorganisms in space. (www.astrobiology.com - look into it there are some interesting stuff in there)
