My x button keeps on getting stuck. If there is no way to fix it tell me how to avoid it getting broken again.

You could take it apart and try to see what's happening.
You could try someone else's idea with the water around the edges of the button.
If nothing works you could hit it repeatedly until it breaks and then duct tape it back together. Duct tape fixes everything.
(seriously, though, if you can't fix it, you're most likely going to have to buy another one)

Turn controller over get a little screw driver unscrew it then turn game on then look at what the controller is doing. Sometimes you may just beable to tell by seeing what came apart if its a button mishap then get a cuetip dab slightly with alcohol clean good if that doesn't work you may need a new one.

probably just dried sugar or food that preventing... keep your controller and hands clean... try not to eat and play....
taking it apart will work as well as two or three drops of water around the key

throw it out and buy a new one. there is really no way to prevent this... just make sure it's not pressed in when you store it.
