I ask this question, that you might apply your mind to it. Think a little differently- think- every thing around me is in flux- I cannot see it but this is so?Immagine that you could look at your little finger nail and see so much that it became a wounderousley formed miniture universe. A matrix, this little finger nail some how representing something much larger. A kind of stairway that spirals exsponencially in two directions. That is......all for now. With your responses I will add more.

I read an article on this. Our universe is like a bubble. There are X number of particles in our universe [or "bubble"]. The configuration that they are in right now makes up our universe. There are many different configurations that these particles could make [something like 10^10^8, ridiculously large]. The different configurations make up different universes. There are many of these, however, they are not endless, so eventually, our configuration would repeat. So eventually you would repeat. Some people think that there is actually more than one of our universe, and in that universe, there is a person exactly like us, doing exactly what we are doing, at the same time we are.

And I must say, at 17, that was a super difficult article to understand. Have a nice day!

Even if you have that special finger nail, It is still part of this universe because everything we see is part of it.

We don't know if there is another universe outside our universe and we will not be able to know.

What you probably thinking about another universe like in your example is a kind of paradox that is a bridge to another Universe.

Well, I can say that you have too much Star Trek.

If you're referring to the similarity between moons & planets orbiting stars in solar systems, versus electrons orbiting the nucleus of an atom, then I believe there is a name for this galactic-subatomic theory. Unfortunately I can't remember what it was or who is credited with it, but it's probably on Wiki.
I believe other universes are only thought to exist in different space-time continuum.

SometimesI think time may be a multidimentional form we percieve as linear. That is to say we move through time in one direction only but time may exist laterally as well as longditudinally and also perhaps vertically and also in a stationary state.
Perhaps if time is in a multiform ghosts and deja-vu are blurs in how time is perceived. Perhaps we see ghosts of muder victims and those who died in horrible ways because their misery makes them enter several; time directions at once.
So in a way everything happens at once and things which may not have happened here can happen here in another quantum variant within universal multiform time.

I don't think I have explained this concept well at all. I hope you deduce what I was trying (badly) to explain.

Have fun!

My pop always had a theory that we(us in our universe) are but merely a speck of dust between someones eyelashes, and so on and on and on, there would be no way to prove or disprove. Definitely. why would we out of the immense vastness which is our universe, be the only planet with 'intelligent' lifeforms?

extremely exciting question. properly,in my perspectives,we are no longer on my own.there is 50% danger of existence on different planets.because, imagine how in reality Earth is blessed with existence? Why no longer different planets?definite, that's real that existence for its upkeep needs effective climate.yet undergo in thoughts that Darwin has stated that the "fittest will proceed to exist".So no matter if there existence exists or would no longer, its always attempting to augment such species which could proceed to exist the respective climate of the certain planet exhibiting info of existence. finally,i visit finish that there is existence on different planets yet no longer yet stuck by ability of our eyes.

Interesting question and one that has troubled philosophers rather than physicists since the beginning of metaphysical thought. However all that is beyond me and far too mind blowing, so I fall back upon a rather neat saying that sums it all up for me...

Great fleas have smaller fleas upon their backs to bite them..
And smaller fleas have lesser fleas and so ad infinitum.

QED.!!

Definitely. Why should there only be one universe.
I know that underwater isn't another Universe but the programmes you see on telly make it look so.
I also believe in life on other planet's too.
