Well, if you go to the county and show them proof that his first marriage never ended, it will automatically void your marriage to him.

Depending on where you live, but most states, you can't be married to 2 people at the same time. That means the state wouldn't recognize the second marriage making it null and void. I'd call a lawyer, odds are, if he's still married to his first wife, then you aren't married, and can walk away.

You're already out of it. If you can prove that he was still married at the time he married you, the marriage is annulled. Not to mention that he's probably going to be facing some charges for polygamy.

My friend had a simliar situation, it all depends on the laws in your homestate. She had to take him to court, do a property settlement just like a divorce, and ended up having the so called marriage annulled. Check with several lawyers to find out your options. Good luck.

If he was married to her when he married you then your marriage is not valid because that would be polygamy which is illegal in all states in the US. If that's not the case, most states have no fault divorce meaning you don't have to have any grounds for filing. Good luck

If the person you are married is still married to someone else, your marriage is illegal and you can easily get an annulment.

If he is married to someone else, and you married him.....your marriage is going to be nullified by the court. You need to contact a lawyer. It will be as if your marriage to him never existed.

The only important thing is if he was married to her first, if so a judge can annul your marriage by finding it to be invalid.

If he was married first, then your marraige is not legal and binding. You therefore have nothing to get out of except any financial obligations that you entered into together.
