I just spent $400.00 in auto repairs. My vehicle has to be parked outside and we live in a wilderness area.

Put a small box of D-COn under the front seat. Push it as near as you can to under the middle of the seat, to avoid pets or children from getting into it. Also, put a second small box of D-Con in the trunk, under the spare tire.
I have had the same problem in the past (and I live in a rural mountain area). The D-Con works every time. However, be prepared to find a dead mouse or two in the car (Possibly, but not likely). The D-Con takes several days to kill the mouse, and usually they will try to get outside to a source of water before they die. They dont just drop dead, so its unlikely you will have any dead mice in the car (I heard from someone who did find one in their car, that's why I brought it up.)

www.critter-repellent.com I sell construction materials such as erosion control....straw....we had a problem with mice in the straw...and squirrels. I ordered some critter repellent & we sprinkled it in the yard. Not a single problem since. For a car....you could put it around where you park or put some in an old nylon and put it somewhere on the car it wouldn't fall off or damage anything. It doesn't smell bad either unless you stick your nose right next to it.

Few thoughts are there that you may choose - a) Get rat capture, positioned masal vada interior in one day - bingo - you locate the rat trapped in the morning - dispose it in the way you elect. attempt a similar for 2 better days to verify no better rats stay (there is also a capture form which kills rats, in case you elect). b) in case you donot have subject matters in killing, save mortein rat killer cubes at vantage factors in one day - rats after eating unusually bypass outside the domicile and die - Pls ascertain lifeless rats are bumped off after little serach so as no longer to reason inconvenience / health probability c) As stated by ability of few others, cat can the organic best pal in case you may post with cat's antics and their droppings / hair fall etc..
