I have been going out with this guy for 1 1/2yrs, we are both aware of all the risks and feel we are taking the necassary precautions and are being very responsibe about it. We want to feel as close physically as we feel emotionally.

its a plus that you've dated him for so long and that you both understand each other well. just make sure to use contraceptives because you don't want to be pregnant at such a young age. half the people telling you no probably lost it around the same time...you're smart b/c you've waited so just be careful because it aint nothin to be ashamed of. we all do it.

I definitely think 17 is too young. As 17 year olds, you are not even close to having the maturity level that you need to enter into a sexual relationship. Believe me, many 30 and 40 year olds can't even handle it. Sorry to say, but if you think this is the guy you're going to spend the rest of your life with, you are most likely 99.9% wrong. As you get older, you change, your life changes, your wants change. Don't start something that you can't finish. Wait- it's definitely worth it (I talk from experience). Good luck.

I know that being young and in love is great but think about if you guys stay together and get married,think how wonderful your wedding nite will be if you both are giving each other yourselves for the very first time.On the other hand if you do not stay together , you will have given up something that should be the most special gift you can give to the one that will take you to be his wife. tyr to focus on other things besides sex. i promise it will be worth the wait.

Definitely. You should wait until you are married! There are so many benefits of waiting. Did you know that every time you do something physical with a bf you are giving away a piece of your heart? Don't you want to give most/all of it to your husband on your wedding day? If you have sex now, what will you have left to give him?

I think you should be concentrating more on your education.... If he really loves and cares for you, he will wait, until you are truly ready.. Just by you asking shows you are not ready...
You are still young and have plenty of time....

you should really wait for marriage girl, cause once a guy gets it, they'll drop you, but if you do it after marriage, then you already got em, and if he leaves you, you get half his stuff sweet.
