.Thomas Lynn Beard (born September 7, 1962) is an American musician, composer, and writer. Also known as "Tom", he came to prominence as a keyboardist/vocalist with the Christian band, Glad, in 1984. He recorded five albums with the band: one received a Critic's Choice Award from Billboard Magazine, and another was nominated for a Dove Award by the Gospel Music Association.
