I am in your shoes right now. I think that it's possible to fall out of love. I'm not sure that you actually fall from love to hate. But I do feel that the frustration from hurt feelings, miscommunication and being inconsiderate to one another can feel like hate. The way I feel is that I love him for giving me incredible children and providing for the family but don't like him as a person. Since I'm not willing to leave and shatter my kids' world, I respect my marriage vows and keep many of my feelings to myself. If you're going to stay, at least have enough respect for yourself, your spouse and your kids (if you have any) to not turn your home into a warzone. If you're ready to leave then do it with the same maturity and respect.

Every marriage is different. Some last, some dont. It really dont be love that causes the divorce, it is things that happen during the marriage that causes it.

You will be guaranteed to hate your spouse at some point in your marraige. Marraige is a committment to get through those periods of hate. If you expect them to come and go, then it's no big deal when they do. The trick to staying married is understanding what committment means BEFORE you walk down the isle. Those of us who are disillusioned before we say "I do" often end up divorced. Nothing really "causes" divorce....it's a choice, just like marraige.

It may turn into hate if their is a logical reason for it. I believe cheating is a logical reason, but that's my opinion. I'd never divorce without talking to a marriage counselor first.

The #1 reason for divorce is marriage.

No. i think folks don't invest in each other after marriage as they did when they were dating (trying to win the other person over). they have each other and become to comfortable. Love is a daily, moment by moment choice, not a once done always there thing.

It is extremely possible to love someone so very intensely that you eventually begin to despise them... If you really think about it, yeah life can be harsh sometimes, but would you truly prefer it the easy way?
