I dont think you can change your IP address if you have a broadband ISP.

If you have dialup, then your IP changes everytime you dial in through the modem.

I guess you can change it using a software!
Whoda thunk it.

If you had a static IP address, then you can just make it dynamic instead.

000 I'm the pro with these.
Theres SO MANY WAYS.
Way #1- Use a proxy-
A proxy is a website which you browse the internet thru. You in turn use the proxys ip address while you're browsing thru the proxy. Proxy's also take care of blocks that schools put on their computers. The sad side affect is that it slows down your browsing/game.
Way #2- Network Connections-
If you're running Windows XP then go to Start- Control Panel- Network Connections. Then click on the connection you're using to connect the internet ONCE. You will see a box appear to our left. Click on the one that says "change settings of this connection". Then click Internet Protocal. Then click Properties. After that you will see a box pop up asking you if you want to obtain your IP address automatically or use one that you chose. Chose your own IP address. THIS PROBABLY WON'T WORK, AND MIGHT HURT YOUR CONNECTION TO THE INTERNET USE THIS ONLY AS A LAST RESORT.
Way #3-
If you have a cable connection with a modem then go to your modem, or router. Unplug the power for 1-30 seconds. Now hopefuly this will change your IP address. Sometimes it works, sometimes it dosen't.
Way #4-
Call up your Internet Service Provider (ISP), and ask them to change your IP address. They should do it.
Way #5-
Route thru another computer using Remote Desktop, or Remote Assistance.
Way #6-
Click Start- Run. And then type in CMD. After that a program will open called Command promp (AKA MS DOS). READ THIS WHOLE SECTION BEFORE DOING THIS. YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CONNECTION FOR A FEW SECONDS AND IF YOU DO LOSE IT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO COME BACK HERE TO FIND OUT HOW TO RENEW IT!!!
After that type in ipconfig /release then hit enter
After that type in ipconfig /renew then hit enter
This may reset your ip address, and it may not.
(also other ipconfig commands are ipconfig, and ipconfig/all)
Well one of those ways will work. For starters you should try way #1.

I don't know if this will work but you go to control panel....then network connections.....right click your connection you are using and then go to the properties of TCP/IP and from there you can enter a IP address BUT...your network is more then likely has a dynamic IP setup and not static but if you are running static IP's then this may work. Also delete your cookies in Internet Explorer some sites put info there. If this doesn't work write me back and tell me what happened.........PS: BIG BIG IMPORTANT ISSUE IF YOU HAVE STATIC (THAT MEANS THAT YOUR IP ADDRESS DOESN'T CHANGE) MAKE SURE YOU WRITE DOWN THE IP ADDRESS BEFORE YOU ENTER A NEW ONE!

This is how you change your IP address:

1. Click Start
2. Click run
3. In the run box type cmd.exe and click OK.
4. When the command prompt opens type the following. ENTER after each new line.

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew
exit

3. Click on the icon with two computers (find it in system tray).
4. Click support and notice your IP address has changed!

go to control panel. then network setting, and there should be 2 or 3 icons, it depends on your service provider, right click each and look for TCP/IP option, then click porperties, after that you may change your IP. But most service providers have automatic IP's assigned to you. If you disconnect and reconnet to your internet, you should get a new IP. good luck..
