It's the Australian Dollar. I am not sure where your from, but it differs from the U.S Dollar in many ways. 1. Its more plastic, where as ours are paper. 2. It comes in not only different colors, but each are different sizes. 3. They don't officially have a one dollar note. Their notes aka Dollar bills start at 5$. They have one dollar and 2 dollar coins.

Decimal currency. (100 cents in a dollar) Looks like monopoly money. The up side in the coins and notes are all distinct from each other and vision impaired people can tell what is what from the size of the notes and the size and weight of the coins.
Coins are 5, 10, 20, 50, and are all silver coloured $1 & $2 which are gold
Notes are $5 (pink), $10 (blue) , $20 (orange), $50 (yellow) & $100 (grey).
Our coins mostly have pictures of native animals, while our notes have people
If some one offers you an Australian Quarter don't accept it. We don't have them.
